Attorney General of Israel Plans to charge PM with Corruption Charges


The Attorney General of Israel announced recently that he had plans of charging the Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for corruption charges. The decision came closely after six weeks before contesting a national election. This is the first time that a serving Prime Minister of Israel to have put up an official notice with regards to planned prosecution and this also deepened uncertainty over how Netanyahu who is a veteran right-wing leader will manage against the coalition of upstart centrist rivals.
