Federica Mogherini Meets Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan


Federica Mogherini, High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy/Vice-President of European Commission met His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Foreign Minister of the United Arab Emirates in Brussels. Both leaders embraced the accomplishments reached by the nations in order to expand their UAE-EU relations as demonstrated by the establishment of an EU Delegation in Abu Dhabi.

The leaders also debated on ways to simplify the execution of the reciprocal Visa Waiver Agreement between the UAE and Member States of the Schengen area that would be benefitting both the Emirati and European citizens.

During the meeting, Mogherini and Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed swapped their views of the situation in the region, especially in Libya.
