Sergei Lavrov, the Foreign Minister of Russia, has berated the United States press for claiming that US President Trump is working for Russia.
Lavrov stated that he believes that it is a decline of the journalistic standards for the American press. Essentially, it is a rather ungrateful undertaking.
Donald Trump, the President of the United States, also recently stated bluntly that he ever worked for Moscow. He also played down a report by Washington Times which claimed that he had hidden a meeting’s translation with Vladimir Putin, the President of Russia.
The New York Times, another widely regarded American news agency, had also stated that a previously unreported inquiry had been launched by the Federal Bureau of Investigation into the current US president. According to the newspaper, that inquiry was taken over by Robert Mueller, the special counsel of the Justice Department.
Mueller is currently heading an ongoing investigation into the possibility of collusion between the Trump campaign and the Kremlin for influencing the presidential election in 2016.
President Donald Trump has constantly denied the possibility of collusion and even has described the Mueller probe as a witch hunt.
