Today, July 8, in Kyiv will host the XXI Ukraine-European Union summit.
The Ukraine-EU summit will be chaired by President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky, President of the European Council Donald Tusk and President of the European Commission Jean-Claude Juncker.
It is noted that during the summit, delegates will discuss security issues, priorities of political, economic and social reforms, the state of implementation of the provisions of the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the European Union.
Also on the website of the European Council noted that during the meeting the parties will discuss the situation in the Sea of Azov and additional funds to support the region. It is reported that the leaders will condemn the issuance of Russian passports to residents of the occupied territories of Donetsk and Lugansk regions.
Recall that the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine noted that Prime Minister VolodymyrGroysman should meet with EU President Donald Tusk and upon completion they will make a joint statement. Groysman will also meet with European Union high representative Federica Mogherini on this day.
